Whether you are "single" or just want to play "matchmaker", Sparkbliss is for you!

Miscellaneous

Sparkbliss respects your privacy:

  • You can see your own network, but not others.
  • Only your private network of connections can introduce you.
  • Any person’s identity who receives an introduction is unknown to the person who was introduced.
  • If you delete a connection from your network, you are reciprocally removed from their network.

Add Connections (create trusted network)

Send email invitations to all your trusted friends, family and colleagues. More connections will translate to more possible introductions.

  • Import webmail and LinkedIn contacts
  • Send invitations to address book
  • Consider contacts from other sources such as social networking sites

Make Introductions (forward bio)

Forward your own bio or be a "matchmaker" and forward bios of your connections to people you know as well as to people known by the people you know, and so on. Thus, any given bio can be forwarded again and again to reach qualified people.

  • Make more introductions and reciprocally receive more introductions
  • Forward bios and encourage re-forwarding bios
  • Provide solid references as well as funny testimonials when making introductions
  • Leverage "super connectors" (those unique people who seem to know everyone)
  • Consider potential sources:
    • Work
    • Church
    • Club
    • Neighborhood

Edit Bio

Modify your description (optional).

  • Add photo (a close-up headshot is suggested)
  • Add URLs from your existing profiles on Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, as well as photos from Flickr, and other websites (e.g. work) that are relevant
  • Add preferences such as likes, dislikes, and relationship status

Other Tips

Also, consider the following:

  • Spearhead a network for your congregation, group, or club
  • Send "thank you" notes after introductions, dates, and anything else
  • send "reminders" to your connections
